Maj. Kirk L. Ray to Command Sgt. Jason D. Jones during a change of responsibility ceremony, Nov. 26. The ceremony actualized the garrison\u2019s growing permanence in Poland and its preparations to welcome military families to the home of V Corps Forward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s ceremony symbolizes continuity, growth, and our enduring commitment to NATO\u2019s Eastern Flank,\u201d said Ray. Reflecting on his tenure, he added, \u201cover the past year, we\u2019ve built strong relationships with our Polish partners and set the stage for a permanent presence. The garrison now supports over 7,500 Soldiers across 11 installations, including major sites in Pozna\u0144, Powidz, and \u015awi\u0119tosz\u00f3w.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur partnership with the Polish government and military is key to our success. Together, we will ensure that USAG Poland continues to thrive as a home for Soldiers, Civilians, and soon, their families,\u201d said Jones.<\/p>\n<p>The Army\u2019s recent announcement of 24-month dependent-eligible tours signals a significant milestone in its growth. \u201cWelcoming 200 family members next summer is more than just a logistical achievement\u2014it\u2019s a testament to our commitment to creating a vibrant, family-oriented community,\u201d said Ray.<\/p>\n<p>In anticipation of families coming, the garrison is working closely with local schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
