ANSBACH, Germany \u2014 The year 2025 marks two major milestones for the U.S. Army and the city of Ansbach: 250 years of U.S. Army service and 80 years of enduring German-American friendship.<\/p>\n

To honor this special year, the U.S. Army and the City of Ansbach invite you to a festive big band concert with the renowned U.S. Army Europe-Africa Band<\/a> May 5, 2025, at the city’s concert hall the Onoldia-Saal.<\/p>\n

A limited amount of free tickets are available for DOD cardholders at the USAG Ansbach MWR Central<\/a> located at the AAFES Exchange Mall on Urlas Kaserne.<\/p>\n

Tickets for this event are also available online for purchase via the city of Ansbach’s online ticket reservation system<\/a> or at the Tourist Office of the City of Ansbach, Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Platz 1, 91522 Ansbach.<\/p>\n

Originally activated in 1940, the USAREUR-AF Band is a versatile ensemble in great demand. The ensemble is one of only four full-time choral groups in the Army. The band performs more than 200 missions annually, and has appeared in over 32 European, Middle Eastern, and African countries in the last decade.<\/p>\n
