Steve Flanagan. \u201cIf we were to assign a monetary value to that time, it would exceed $1.5 million dollars. Still, that impressive figure only begins to reflect the true impact of your individual and collective efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The red carpet was laid out for all attendees to walk into the ceremony, fitting to the theme of this year\u2019s Volunteer Recognition Ceremony was \u201cShining a Light on our Volunteers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVolunteers like you are a shining light &#8211; an inspiration to us all \u2013 and a vital part of what makes our Army Communities thrive,\u201d said Tanya Callaghan-McCann, USAG Bavaria Army Volunteer Corps Coordinator with Army Community Service. \u201cFor all the awe-inspiring work you continue to do, in support of USAG Bavaria, we extend our deepest gratitude.  Thank you for being the heart of this community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Each Unit, Agency, and Organization across USAG Bavaria was given the opportunity to nominate their top volunteers for recognition in this year\u2019s ceremony.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nominations: <\/strong>(Names bold were selected as Volunteer of the Year in each category.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Active Duty: <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Spc.
