Ages 18-35.<\/p>\n Leadership and Crew member positions available.<\/p>\n Immersive experience with the United States Forest Service.<\/p>\n Wildland Fire Fighting and Prescribed Burning.<\/p>\n National Wildfire Certifications including: L-180: Human Factors in Wildland Fire, S-130: Firefighter Training, S-190: Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior, S-131: Firefighter Type 1, S-290: Intermediate Fire Behavior, S-211: Portable Pumps and Water Use, S-219: Firing Operations, S-260: Interagency Incident Business Management, S-270: Basic Air Operations, S-212: Wildland Fire Chainsaws, ICS-100: Introduction to the Incident Command System, IS-700: National Incident Management System, and Wilderness First Aid.<\/p>\n Food and transportation are provided for while in the field overnight.<\/p>\n Americorps Education Award of $3,447.50.<\/p>\n Public Land Corps Hiring Authority Certificate.<\/p>\n It is a very dynamic program with the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the southeast region.<\/p>\n Opportunity to travel domestically while on AD Time paid ($21.08\/hr).
