VICENZA, Italy – If you’re trying to eat healthy, the Vicenza Commissary has some good options for you, according to store director Anthony Piccolo.
In the Vicenza Commissary EXPRESS Line, Piccolo highlights some items to consider, whether it’s healthier choices or food for upcoming events.
“Having a meeting or office luncheon? Want a healthier choice?,” Piccolo writes. “The commissary produce department makes Fruit or Veggie trays for every occasion. Just give them 72 hours’ notice.”
Prepacked salads made at the Bistro are also a fast, healthy option for lunch said Piccolo, adding that they can be found in the “Deli/Bakery Grab N Go” area.
With NCAA March Madness just around the corner, orders for party supplies, such as sandwich trays, meat & cheese platters, rotisserie chickens and ribs are in demand, Piccolo said.
“At the Bistro you can get catered hot foods or specialty items,” Piccolo said. “Inquire at the Bistro with a minimum 72-hour notice.”
