BAUMHOLDER, Germany – Love, commitment, and the celebration of enduring partnerships were at the forefront during the annual “I Still Do” wedding vow renewal ceremony hosted by U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz (USAG-RP) Family Advocacy Program (FAP) Oct. 20 at the Rheinlander Community Center.

The event provided families an opportunity to reconfirm their dedication to each other.

Ms. Letrice Titus, Lead Victim Advocate, presided over the ceremony and captured the essence of the event with the words, “At this time, we reconfirm your vows; you may now kiss.”

The ceremony aimed to dispel the common misconception that marriage marks the last step in a romantic relationship. While many see marriage as the culmination of love, understanding, and commitment, it is more accurately described as the commencement of a grand adventure.

Couples who had the privilege of sharing joys, blessings, and challenges throughout their married life came together to renew their commitment to each other. This symbolic recommitment underscores the importance of working together to ensure that their marriage continues to flourish for years to come.

As the sun set over the Rheinlander Community Center, the “I Still Do” ceremony left couples with rekindled spirits and a reaffirmed commitment to navigate the ongoing adventure of marriage hand in hand.
