The two-day conference brought together leadership from AFRICOM, and AFRICOM component commands, including Gen. Michael E. Langley, Commander, U.S. Africa
Command, and Adm. Stuart B. Munsch, Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Africa. Its goal was to coordinate military strategies throughout Africa, and featured representatives
from various U.S. Military branches and commands in Europe and Africa, underscoring its comprehensive approach.

Focusing on operational strategies and support for the AFRICOM mission, the conference addressed military service support and resourcing, the impact of multi-
mission combatant commands, and operational planning in Africa.

Gen. Langley highlighted the significance of the event, stating, "This conference is a vital platform to align U.S. efforts as we work with our African partners toward our
shared goals of security and stability.”

The conference provided an opportunity for in-depth discussions about the U.S. Navy’s role in maritime security exercises and operations, reaffirming its commitment to the
AFRICOM mission and regional stability.
