ANSBACH, Germany — The USAG Ansbach Directorate of Public Works (DPW) conducts electrical safety tests, or e-checks, at Army Family Housing.
Checks will be performed on all electrical devices and electrical systems, such as electrical outlets, fixtures and fuse boxes.
These e-checks should not be confused with the garrison-wide scheduled power outages to conduct annual maintenance on transformer stations.
E-checks take approximately 30 minutes per unit.
