Live Whole Health Episode #234: Take me to the river

Your breath moves through your body like the current on a river. Do you notice it? When our mind and body are busy, we often don’t notice the gentle rhythm of breathing and how our breath nourishes our body and mind.

In the heat of summer, we want to slow down, stay cool and relax. This 5-minute practice brings you beside a gentle river where you can pause, listen and explore the cool, refreshing energy of your breath. Listen for the full five minutes, or just a minute or two to get the benefit of pausing with the current of your breath.

Circle of health

Surroundings are an important aspect of self-care in the Circle of Health. Our surroundings include where we live, where we work, how the external world affects our emotions, avoiding harmful toxins and spending time in nature.

Find out more about how our surroundings and environment can affect the way we think and feel.
